Die Inspiration für diese Uhr stammt von einer sternklaren Nacht in der Kindheit. Ich erinnere mich, wie ich als Kind auf dem Heimweg nach oben blickte und von einem Himmel voller dicht gedrängter Sterne überwältigt war. Das weiße Sternenlicht schien mich auf meinem Heimweg langsam zu begleiten – ein Bild, das ich seit über einem Jahrzehnt im Gedächtnis trage.
Beide verwenden Stein als Zifferblattmaterial, mit reichen und vielfältigen Licht- und Schatteneffekten, funkelnd und bezaubernd. Kein Stein gleicht dem anderen auf der Welt, und keine Uhr gleicht der anderen.
